Unpopular opinion: I don’t like elf. It wasn’t a favourite of mine to begin with, but after returning to my musical theatre group after I took a break for health reasons, and they started to do elf , I left the group for real this time because I realised it was too much for me. Annie is also no longer something I’d watch because of this.

Unpopular opinion: Hermione isn’t that great.
The movie Hermione absolutely destroyed the character, no this isn’t making fun of Watson, she was decent in the role, had a great start but then in later movies she didn’t adapt her role.
Book Hermione isn’t one of my favourite characters, I even dislike her , but that’s because she has character traits I dislike, being a bossy, know-it-all and having zero sense of sympathy for her peers.
Hermione couldn’t have solved all of the issues in the books. Her plans rarely worked, and even when they did they never really went the way she wanted them to.
For example the polyjuice incident, Hermione’s skill isn’t in strategy, but she brewed an advanced potion with no instruction from a teacher, thats pretty f---ing amazing.
But Hermione isn’t the smartest character at all, she copies text from the book and refuses to truly accept that she can be wrong.
Hermione doesn’t take other people into account. She’s apathetic towards other people’s pain. Rather than keep her mouth shut, or even attempt to comfort lavender she used the opportunity to bash the girl’s favourite teacher.
This shows Hermione cares about her beliefs even against being compassionate.
Hermione in the books has good traits, and real flaws. That makes her interesting.
Movie hermione boils down to little more than a pretty actress.
Actually the attractiveness of Watson is the main reason people don’t understand hermione and Ron, and support Harmony, or even Dramione,
Because Tom Felton and Daniel Radcliffe are more conventionally attractive than Rupert. -
