Yesterday, September 10, was World Suicide Prevention Day, dedicated to spread awareness of suicide prevention, and how important it is to do so.
Suicide has a number of factors and things that contribute to it, a lot of them being underlying or complex issues, issues which contribute to feelings of pain and hopelessness.
Everybody feels pain sometimes. Sometimes people feel it more than others. But pain does NOT have to last forever. The key to stopping pain is to treat it properly.
Depression is a demon, and most of the time, people that have it often don't show it. So if people don't often show it, how do you know? How do you help? Support them. Be there for them. Life isn't always easy or fair, but that's just life. Make the most out of it. Make life something you want to look back on with happiness, not sadness and regret.
To anyone who is personally struggling, please seek help. Let people actually help you, they want to help for a reason.
And in case you need to hear it today, you matter, and you are very loved. There is always hope. There is always a new day.

I really wanted to post this yesterday, but completely forgot to. Hell, I didn't even know that yesterday was World Suicide Prevention Day until I checked Twitter and saw some guy on YouTube tweet something out about it. Yesterday was completely s---ty for me, and I thought about suicide until I saw the tweet. It was one of the best things I could have ever seen -
