and being guaranteed a spot in the National Championship in one of the cities you've always wanted to visit
but you missed out on it
because the event was in early June and you didn't check your email until late July
and, get this:
your name wasn't even recognized in the press release because you never gave consent
all because
you didn't check your email
during the summer
I have never been this proud and this dejected at the same time -
I laughed for like five minutes
