our teachers don't get paid very much and they keep cutting education
the problem still hasn't been resolved but the teacher's union gave up lol -

My district had a teacher's strike a few years ago for the same reasons. I don't think the wage got increased at all. So we lost 2 weeks of scheduled school time.

yeah same thing happened here. except I think they did give the teachers a raise but it wasn't nearly enough and the education fund is still suffering
the state is really torn because we're severely broke and their two main issues right now are the prison system and the public education system -

it's been a problem for a while, this isn't the first strike. Oklahoma just kind of sucks lmao
