Like, really cliche backstories, but none of them interact with the main characters too much, so that's why it's a low case.

If anything i'd pair Spyke with Samantha, Ikki with Karen, Koji and Erika would sort of just... Do their own thing. Erika would be too busy with her journalism to have time for a married life and Koji would work as Space Medafighter X's disciple.
That's how I view it anyways. -
