I want to finish the game, but my copy always freezes at the same spot on disc 2. So I cant get to disc 3

It is, Ill have to replace disc 2. But I have no way of telling if disc 3 and 4 work well xD

I like it. The presentation is great. I havent had troubles with the junction system (I broke the game early on by junctioning ultima to squalls strength in the end of disc 1) I havent been able to finish the story but the rivalry between Squall and Seifer is neat, but just a bit cliche. Theres also a lot of optional stuff. Really like the Laguna portions a lot (srry about long response am nerd)

I hated the game when I first picked it up, but the more I play it, the more I actually enjoy it! I'm fond of the draw system, because it's interesting and provides a challenge. The game requires a lot of strategy and I absolutely love that, which is why it becomes so addicting. I love Seifer, and I very much enjoy the way it alternates between Laguna and Squall, though I believe it could have been done more effectively. I like the gameplay, and the plot is fine. My main problem is with Squall and Rinoa. They're both really boring and stereotypical, in my opinion. Squall felt too much like he was trying to copy Cloud, but he does get better as the game progresses. Rinoa, on the other hand, continues to annoy me throughout the entire game. However, she is a necessary evil, as she's actually pretty useful in battle. In summary, good game, annoying female lead.

8s a bit of an aquired taste imo. Coming straight from faster games like 6 and 7 the slower flow of battles kinda irked me. I think a lot of people who disliked it never really gave it another go when it didnt click.
I see what you mean about them trying to copy Cloud. Square Enox has actually been trying to make Cloud 2.0 for a while. Their most recent (and most noticeable attempt) was Lightning. I like it when Squall begins to open up. I related to him quite a bit.
Im not sure what to make about Rinoa. Shes immature, but thats from the way she was raised. I try not to hold that against her, but shes kinda annoying at times. -

People hate one? o.0 I cant see how. I get some of the hate for 2, but 1 is great.
