you all know that last summer i lost mika, my cat... she was practically my sister. well, my cousin's cat rugby... he's like my brother... his kidneys are failing... and now i'm going to lose him, too... it's just, i don't see cats as cats. they're like, people to me. i know how it feels to lose one you love to something you can't fight against, like cancer... and i feel so horrible because now my cousins have to go through that, too... D': *cries*

and i know i have to be there for them and stay strong... but it's so hard. my heart has been broken into bits before and it's so fragile now... and now... i can't watch them go through this...

alana, just stay with your cat while it is still alive, and when it dies, just try not to be sad, it might be feeling really bad

*hugs* the worst thing is that you can't do anything to stop it... you have to watch them go through all this pain and then put them down.. that's what kills me. crying and crying and looking into their eyes before they inject them... then they're gone... you'll never see them again, the only way you can have them with you truly is in your heart...

Cats feed off of emotions. When your happy, they're happy. Same with sadness. So try to stay...er less sad. You don't want the cat to feel sad as/if it passes on.. -
