Charlie and Serai are so mean to each other in this part..

Writing Serai crying is kinda killing me. Him begging for Charlie back in the temple is the most humiliating thing for him. He hates the gods/god/f---ing magical sky people that everyone worships
But having Charlie back made him start to believe
But this justice and greater-good driven charlie isn't his.. And he's scared of asking for to much and losing him entirely again
But I'm excited to write the lake scene. I'm so excited to Charlie to walk from the flames and lay the truth on them.
Also revamping the marriage scene to where Valencia is about to back out when Warren and Malik bust in. The subtle hinting towards her not wanting to marry him, leading up to the pirates being introduced..
And working on an official map to help me visualize. -
Writing a bit that won't go in the books. Serai talking directly to the Goddess..
He KNOWS wanting Charlie to be human is selfish. My poor baby.
The first time he admits that he loves him, Charlie is dead and once reborn, but not Charlie anymore. Something else.
And the goddess points out that he has loved him for a very, very long time. And Serai agrees that he loved him ever since Charlie made him claim the crown..
Serai has loved Charlie for the past two and a half books. And hasn't said anything.
