I don't mind that it's taking them so long because at least they're taking their time with the game. I hope they put as much love and care into it as they did the original.
I liked Titus and Penello, too. I've never played IV so I can't say anything about Cecil. I feel the energetic characters are often under-appreciated.
My favourite FF characters are Auron, Jecht, Tidus, Rikku, and Anima (I know it's just an aeon and not technically a character but it's so badass) from X; Zidane, Vivi, and Freya from IX; Squall, Selphie, and Seifer from VIII; Cloud, Barrett, Cid, Sephiroth, and Tifa from VII. I also kind of like Hope and Sazh from 13. But it's really hard to choose. Final Fantasy has so many great characters. -
That's true. I'm usually not so impatient about game releases. I waited quite patiently for 15, but my hype for 7 has gotten to critical levels. xD Funnily enough, 7 isn't even my favorite in the series. I just love me some Final Fantasy.
I feel that the summons can be counted as favorite characters. Many of them are just so impossibly cool. Same can go for monsters or bosses. :) The series does have too many good characters. It's almost criminal to have to choose lol
I haven't gotten to play IX yet, I'm stuck between finding a ps1 copy or getting the ps4 rerelease. It sounds dumb, but I'm not a big fan of digital games. :/ I prefer physical. I'm pretty materialistic xP I skipped 360 and ps3, so I'm waiting for a XIII trilogy remaster on ps4. I wanna experience it for myself, so I've never watched videos or read reviews. I've just heard everything my friends have said. -
Me too. Even if they game blows, I'll still play it. I'm a slut for Final Fantasy tbh.
Ohh yes. Besides, Anima is technically Seymour's mom, right? So I guess it is a character either way. Lmao, imagine getting beaten up by your dead mom.
IX was my first Final Fantasy game. All of my Final Fantasy games are physical copies, but less because I wanted them to be and more because for years all we had was a PS1. Even now, we only have a PS2, but we also have a 360 so that's what I play XIII on. I actually disobeyed my general rule of never spoiling myself on games for XIII. I watched a video of this really f---ing awesome boss fight because I didn't think (at the time) that I'd get to play the game. Luckily, the boss didn't reveal much about the plot and I am still anxiously awaiting my chance to fight it. Actually, I got stuck on a part in XIII and I haven't picked it back up for months. I'll probably do that some time this weekend or next week. I hated the game at first, but now I'm starting to like it. -
Same
Yeah.
That would be pretty horrifying, but Seymour done earned that lol
I understand that. I just recently started getting all of these games. Growing up I only had a ds/gba and a gamecube. Since the gamecube didn't have a mainline FF my first Final Fantasy that I played was the gba version of Final Fantasy VI. VI blew my mind as a young child. It was too much for me. I went back to pokemon pearl and didn't touch ffvi for about 2 years xD
I'm glad someone else has a no spoiler rule. It's good that the fight didn't spoil much. That must be a really neat fight though :0 So the game just clicked for you? -
I keep hearing how good VI is and I really want to play it but I don't have a GBA anymore. I'll just have to save up and buy one, I guess. It'll be worth it though. I love the GBA.
The boss was so creepy and ominous and powerful that it made me excited and want to play the game. Well at first, I hated the game. I thought it was too simple and the voice acting is bad and the jokes just fall flat. However, after playing it for a while, I started to get really invested in the story and even the combat. The battles got more challenging and the story started to come together and be really intriguing. There are still some silly plot holes and the voice acting makes my ears bleed but I actually really like the game now. I guess it did "click" eventually. It's not as good as other Final Fantasy games but it isn't as terrible as I first thought. -
Watch out for the gba version, it's heavily pirated. The bootlegs used to be really easy to identify (the sticker used to have characters from iv, but the bootlegs look more like the real deal now.) If you want more details I could elaborate :)
Truly, none of the games are terrible. They're all incredibly fun and well developed. They can be meh as a Final Fantasy but never bad as a game. -
Wow. Who'd want your contact info after being insulted like that?
-
I know right xD

Did ya see what is said about it in my thread xP

No. I just saw their thread and couldn't believe what I had just read.

What'd you say twinzzie?
Sorry, I went out to eat and the restaurant had no wifi. -
I said
"If it bothers you that much then leave. I may seem like an ass (not trying to be one) but I'm not stopping you. why did you come back in the first place if it's that big of an issue? Why are you criticizing other people for wanting to leave but keep in contact certain people.
We never got along, I know but I'm just really curious about what you said. I kinda don't understand entirely what you mean. I don't just curiosity that's all.
I wish you well though. " -
Haha nice
