I've decided that I don't want kids until I'm in my late 30s. And even then I don't want to get pregnant. Someday, in the far future, I'd like to adopt a child that has been born into this world with no family or support system. I want to be a mommy, but definitely not when I'm young. And I practice what I preach; I've always said that it's better to give a baby up for adoption than abort it, and someday I'm going to give my children a beautiful chance at life.
But I'm going to use my years ahead in my 20s and 30s to be a career woman and be with my loved ones.
I haven't actually made a thread for this before, even though I decided this a few months ago. :3 -

Ah, that's a good idea. It makes someone feel good when they know they're giving a child who never had love, love. I think that motivated me to do the same..

Yeah, I've talked about this with my mom, and the fact is people are living longer these days so why not live our young years to live our dreams? To do what we want before we take on the responsibility of a child, because it is a huge responsibility. Think how you won't have regrets and unfulfilled dreams, you'll most likely have made a good lifestyle for yourself and family, and you'll enjoy being a mother more when you know you can handle it.
I'm actually considering staying asexual until I'm married, because I don't want to f--- my life up. T.T -
Adopt one from Egypt! Although the orphanages in Egypt are full, none of them are being adopted because of law. Because the law is based on Islam, and Muslims believe you shouldn't adopt children, it's against the law to adopt kids there. But I think people from other countries can adopt them...I'm not quite sure.
