Tbh, even if the loud noises didn't make me want to lock myskef in a closet, I hate it. Red white and blue don't go together. I hate barbecue. Everyone is loud and screams dumb patriotic s---. Store bought cookies. Store bought cakes. The firework displays in Oklahoma usually blast country music. Idiots blowing off their limbs. Being dragged out late at night. Alcohol everywhere. Drunk adults. Drunk teenagers. The fact that nobody really cares about the date itself, they care about American flag bikinis and barbecue ribs. All meaning behind the holiday has been watered down to country hicks yelling "FREEDOM" even though they probably never got education past 7th grade and don't know what the hell they're talking about.
I just reallh don't like this holiday. -

If they didn't go together not many countries would have chosen them, you just have a bad opinion. And not everyone acts like that, maybe they do where you live, but you don't have to act like they do everywhere.
