Yeah apart from his twisted ass depression after being rejected from Thunderclan, I did quite like Scourge.

I liked the manga with Tigerstar in it
Made me feel a bit more sympathetic for him -
Not for me. It just made me feel like the books were making excuses for him.

It's the authors way of adding character depth without using the star thing (I haven't read warrior cats in f---ing years, forgive me) as a bulls--- excuse to bring him back.

I suppose so. Authors need to learn to let go of some characters, no matter how important or popular they were.
