I'm too dumb for school.
-
is that account name supposed to be the helen of troy?
-
I think. It's based from Homer's Odyssey.
I don't really think I am that intelligent. Maybe I go through extreme measures just to see knowledgeable, when I am far from that. I don't know anything. I'm frustrated all of the time. -
so yeah, helen of troy
would you like to talk about it? -
Yeah.
Sure. In school, my "intellectual nourishment" depends on what environment I'm in and how I feel. I started to hate Chemistry. It's basic math but instilled with the most rules and principles that many historical a--holes created for scientific progression and recognition. Algebra is pretty easy when taught visually, I get sometimes bored because of the repetitive work. I really enjoy the class actually, because of the chill environment and my teacher. In English, it's almost impossible to get an A but impossible to get below a B. I actually love that class and the teacher and she sets up a system where you can't possibly fail. It's an Honors class but it does not testament to the curriculum label.
World Geography is awfully boring and that's where I almost failed, twice. Love the teacher, but I prefer solid History/Civics classes. I don't give a s--- about memorizing a wholesome map, it's not like I travel anywhere.
Art classes? My traditional art class is meh. It's boring because we kind of have some constrained box of what we need to learn, which is totally fine, but everybody in the class just talk and go on their phones. I love my teacher, but it gets BORING in the class. I never knew an art class could kill my imagination a tinsy bit.
Ceramics, eh. The teacher definitely knows a variety of techniques and methods to properly prepare clay and pottery. It's still boring, another chill classroom, and the teacher is distracted by outside life (sometimes)
Study hall is chaotic. That's all I must infer. -
:') sorry with that ramble connor
-
Well it seems that instead of not being intelligent, you just aren't taking things that you would be interested in. I don't know what you plan on being when you graduate and crap but it's best o just try to get through the classes and then you can get to the things you actually want to take.
-
I don't know either. I think I should move schools.
That's true. Thank you, Connor. -
You're welcome.
