But my anxiety has been off the charts recently.
I'm breaking out, my leg never stops shaking even when I'm laying down, and I have increasingly frequent panic attacks of varying intensity.
I am seeking a therapist. Once a week. But not this week because of my mom being away, and I've only seen him a few times so we're still in that awkward initial analysis phase.
I take medicine for it once a day that helps with some of the panic attacks. They aren't all just me not being able to breathe, they can be random bursts of anger or the sudden urge for isolation. My anger problems have almost completely straightened out since starting the medicine, and I've mostly stopped hiding in my room
Mostly.
But I literally have NO IDEA what triggers my panic attacks. There is absolutely nothing stressful in my immediate environment and yet I just had a horrible one.
I've tried all sorts of breathing stuff. Read online articles.. If anyone has any suggestions or just has similar experiences that'd be cool. I feel like an alien. -
Go to the doctors.
-
What's the medicine called?
-
Paroxetine.
-
It's the symptoms of the medicine. I knew it.
"Common paroxetine side effects may include:
vision changes;
weakness, drowsiness, dizziness;
sweating, anxiety, shaking;
sleep problems (insomnia);
loss of appetite, constipation;
dry mouth, yawning; or.
decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm."
-
"For anxiety"
"Causes anxiety"
I love science
Thank you. I probably need to get switched to something else. -
;0 That's exactly what I was thinking. It's pretty contradictory.
I have no clue why they didn't discuss the symptoms or side effects. You should go to the doctors and get them to assign you to a tame medication. -
Since I'm only seeing a therapist, he can't prescribe anything. I GP gave them to me.
