I was waiting outside of the library and this guy just walked towards this red car and immediately some random man's head appeared out of the window and what I assumed he was saying to me:
"Hey beautiful, just get in the car, beautiful!"
me: unimpressed, totally in my own world while enjoying the night of unusual Floridian cold weather
This is my son!
See, you're black and you go to library-"
They drove off and left and at that point I was both genuinely puzzled at the comical situation that has befallen on me.
If only they didn't see me in the dark, they would see it was a big mistake to say that. They were all pretty much empty words anyways, lmao. -
