Is it appropriate to tell your siblings you love them and maybe kiss them on the cheek? ( Specifically talking about one of my triplets but I do kiss the younger ones on the forehead)
I was going through my sisters phone ( Because I'm an amazing brother who doesn't respect her privacy ( Because Blake does it to me)
And two of her friends had problems with both things ( one with the kissing on the cheek and the hugging ( hugging happens a lot but I rarely kiss her cheek it happens mostly when she's done something really nice , I get great news or I'm really happy and vice verse)
And the other with the telling her I love her.
They both are calling it incest but let me say this:
I don't make a huge deal about hugging or kissing, the kiss on the cheek never last longer than maybe a second or two , hugs tend to last longer but they are never the kind of hugs you'd give a significant other.
I guess I say I love her at school at least one a day usually and say it a lot more at home but then again my entire family doesn't this as well

Tess : Hi Mia how's your day been
Mia : Hello Tess It's been good you?
Tess :eh not bad but not great either )starts going to her room(
love you
Mia : love you
Generally we say it in place of goodbye and stuff so I could maybe understand people who don't do that being uncomfortable but anyway I'd like a second opinion to tell me if it's natural to say and do what I do. -

Because of how hypersexualized our society has become, it's sad this has to be a question. Affection and love automatically get linked to sex.
I don't see anything wrong with it if it's just normal family love. Some cultures are more affectionate than others, but I think it's great yours is a family that tells each other you love each other and gives hugs and cheek/forehead kisses. I guess if it becomes such an offense to people in public, just give hugs and say I love you, but otherwise don't let people twist what should be platonic family love into something sick. -

I know what you mean, I guess it's because we're both the same age and are pretty close and comfortable with each other. -
No problem, I hope it all goes well. My brother is ten years older than me, so I don't think we had any issues. It was more like I was the 5 year old always hugging people and he was the grumpy teenager. xD

So far in our family the current oldest teenager is always grumpy, it was Blake then Jess and now me XD( although Dara get some grumpy when I act all protective and goofy)

I had my grumpy moments as a teenager, everyone does lol.
That's awesome. :3 I'm kind of the same way with my parents. My dad was in the army so we traveled a lot. Family was always so important since we've stuck around through thick and thin. Ideally we should be friends with our families, but sadly there's more pain than love in some cases. -

My family and I have always been close and I guess all of the family therapy we go through because of my disorders kind of makes us closerXD
I have constant fights with my other triplet melonie. She's rarely around being apart of a gifted schooling programme or something but we do stick together when it counts :) -
