OK OK OK SO
The director was tuning every section one by one starting from a section's first chair down to the the last person then to the next section. Woodwinds are the first row. Left to right if you're facing them: Clarinets, oboe, flutes
She started with flutes and went down the row. She would tell you if you were properly tuned, flat, or sharp. She has a great ear. Nearly everyone was flat. She got to me, smiled, and said Perfect. Amazing.

Compliments from her are so hard to get. I just kept smiling. She means it when she says it's perfect.
