But I think my parents are nice people who genuinely love me. -
I love my mom but im not really close to my stepdad, but i like him anyway.... Not to mention getting hit severely by my stepdad for 10 years....hes only stopped now, i guess im too big now.....

My mom only likes me if i clean the house. When i dont: she starts being spiteful:calls me names, hits me ectra.

Same as Ana, my parents can be pretty cool. But I cannot stand asking my dad a question or for help on something because he talks forever... it's kind of like a medical problem though. I don't remember what it was, but it causes him to talk forever without realizing it.

Right now, no. When they leave me alone and stop asking me questions like I'm having the third degree, yes. I don't like answering questions from adults. "How are you today?" "How was school?" "Is there anything you need to talk about?" "What is making you so mad at me?". I hate that. Lately there's been a lot of it. Besides, I don't trust their responses. It makes me feel like I'm being interviewed by some phsyco who says they know how I feel but really, they just want me to stop being myself. I mean, my parents haven't hit me or anything, really, they're nice people. My friends love them. But I don't feel good with them.
