Short, soft white fur. No collar. I saw her a couple weeks ago and she was skittish at first, but then she warmed up and followed me around that day while I did laundry. I didn't see her again until today. She followed me again and I pet her briefly, not wanting to get hair on me since I'm allergic. I thought she may be a stray, but she's in good health and she didn't have ticks or fleas, so I'm skeptical now. I felt really bad about shutting her out of my apartment because she seemed like she wanted to go in. Sweet dog. I'm attached already (orz).
I'm not very well versed in dog breeds, so I don't know what she is. She had ears similar to a pit bull, but she was NOT a pit bull.

Poor dog though. Hope she didn't belong to someone. -
I went outside to take a picture and she vanished again. Starting to think I may be hallucinating.
