I don't see the problem. It's a thread they are no longer going to be used and they don't want anyone posting in it. Very understandable.

Or you know what the admin could do? Replace all of the ones they have now and just add the new ones people elect, much like a presidential government office.

Drew, you're legit only saying that because none of us agree with you. You want your friends to be moderators, because you know they'll listen to every word you say and agree with you. However, you aren't realizing that isn't how life works. You can want something. You can point out every last flaw of a person to try to get people to go against them. But you won't get it the way you act. Have you ever thought that, perhaps, being nice and actually looking at BOTH sides of the coin will get you further than instantly seeing only YOUR side?

And, again, we've told all users that if they want a thread to be locked, we will HAPPILY lock it! You posted a one time use thread and want it to be locked? No problem. Just link it to us and we'll lock it and come up with a reason for you. So if you think this "personal use" thing is an issue, we're OFFERING to do it for other users to make it fair.

Or just give regular users the power to lock their own threads that are linked or made with their account. -
