Do you think that if people knew that I'm not here to punish sinners, but to welcome them where their supposed father wouldn't, they would keep living by his rules? Come on. He's a control freak. If they knew they could get away with murdering, stealing, or, I forbid, loving someone of the same gender, why wouldn't they? Humanity has no respect, so the only way to make them behave how god wanted them to was to make them afraid.

What are you even talking about? A majority of people, especially individuals that claim to be Christians, don't even specifically follow the Commandments or the laws from his stupid archaic book. They do whatever they want anyways despite that it would contradict their beliefs, so I don't see much of the point.

Like I said, they're losing faith. Years ago, humanity was scared. It followed his commandments down to the last detail. They even lynched those who dared disobey him. But humanity has grown complacent. God is lazy. He has not reasserted his presence since the beginning of time. He has done nothing to bring the ones who break his commandments to justice- it even appears as if he's rewarding them, more often than not. They're turning away from him as they learn there are virtually no limits to the insubordination they can get away with. I sympathize with them, though. How are they supposed to know their god isn't dead when he does nothing? How can he blame them for deviating from his one true path if he refuses to give them the guidance they need, but makes his appearance before them just in time to damn them?
