Bio: Sekhmet has grown up quietly on the outskirts of Equestria with her family. While never being directly involved, she's seen the land and those that neighbor it suffer through many tragedies brought about by powerful foes. While the situations always seem to be resolved by the same group of ponies, she fears the day they fail, and has spent a good deal of her time preparing herself to defend the ones she loves when the need arises. She has a talent for music, and uses her magic to physically manifest it around her. This allows her to weaponize her voice. She's also taken on a lot of combat training. She tends to keep her head down in public, trying to get herself emotionally involved with as few people as possible so she can invest all of her energy in protecting the few she cares for. She doesn't draw attention to herself if she can avoid it, preferring to observe and gather information. Around friends, she becomes more open, voicing blunt opinions and exhibiting playfulness. She's very curious, and finds herself distracted by little things often. She has a weird ability to get into places she shouldn't reasonably fit and excellent problem solving skills.

Faults:
Sekhmet can be very selfish- she doesn't want to be responsible for other people, and she doesn't want to be a hero. If you need her help, you'd better have something she wants, or be extremely important to her.
Like a cat, she's very easily distracted. A laser pointer would do the trick if you wanted to draw her attention.
She's blunt, which can be hurtful at times. She doesn't care enough to lie in order to spare anyone's feelings.
Sekhmet is a glass cannon. She's physically strong, uses powerful magic, and can maneuver with great speed and precision on solid ground or in the air, but she has a very low threshold for pain, and it doesn't take much to knock her down and out once you manage to land a hit.

Bio: Metal Hoof is a former royal guard. He served until his horn was broken in battle, rendering his magic nearly useless. He's a very gentle soul, contrary to his track record as a combatant. He's gifted in flight- in fact, it was his defining skill during his time as a guard. Camouflaging himself among the clouds and fearlessly taking flight in even the worst of weather are both examples of his admirable abilities. He stubbornly insists that all trouble faced in the land can be handled by more qualified ponies, feeling that he's given all he can and he doesn't owe anyone anything else. He's content to live out his life with his happy family in the hills on the edges of Equestria. He's active in his small community, and well known and loved among his neighbors.

Faults:
Metal Hoof is willfully ignorant to the threats faced by Equestria. Someone has always taken care of the citizens, and he wants to live the rest of his life with his family, as a civilian. This causes him to turn a blind eye to a lot of big problems. While he's still got the physical prowess of a royal guard, he or someone else would have to be in immediate danger for him to act.
He's heavy and clumsy on foot, and chooses to use his wings a lot more than is necessary.
He's helpful to a fault- Metal Hoof will ignore any red flags and end up getting scammed in his desire to be kind.
