  And this would be a problem for people on the stage who never get responded to. I've seen at least 20 of "roleplay with me" threads on the third or fourth page where the only person who posted was the creator of the thread.

  Okay kiddies, let me clear it. Your level bar goes down if you make thread, but in a very, very less amount that it is almost impossible to notice. And the new update thing, it is only for Newbie and Novice status. Since most spammers are between these two levels, they are allowed to make only 2 threads per day.
