'She divorced me ages ago, before she was shipped off.' David sighed. 'When she remembers who I am, she'll probably not want to come near me.'
-
"She better not come near you!" She grabbed his crotch. "These are mine now!"
-
'Wait!' Elaine exclaimed. 'David! I remember HIM! He's the guy that got me shipped off the prison!!! He's also my ex-husband, and Tanya's father!!!'
'That's right.' Bridget nodded.
'Hmm...Better stay clear of him. He might get me arrested again!' -
"Shut up, you ignorant old bat!"
"Mimi!" Sullivan's eyes went wide. -
Bridget's eyes widened. She turned to Elaine.
'What happens if you DO get arrested again???' She asked. Elaine suddenly looked afraid, just thinking about what would happen. Elaine swallowed hard.
'The lethal injection, that's what.' she whimpered. She suddenly looked horrified. She clutched her neck at the thought and shivered all over. -
"You deserv---" Sullivan pulled her back, a hand over her mouth. "I got it!" He told them.
-
Elaine continued to clutch her neck and whimpered, like a frightened child. Bridget secretly felt...sorry for her. The Angel took Elaine's hand.
'I know where you could go.' she told her. 'There's an old cabin, up in the mountains. No one else lives there.'
'Jesus.' Dave muttered, facepalming. -
"Are you insane?!" Mimi screeched. "You're seriously helping that skank?!"
-
Bridget rolled her eyes. 'You've only just met her.' she sighed. She flew into the air with Elaine, to the cabin.
'Is this just another dream???' Elaine asked, trembling.
'What?' Bridget asked.
'Is this just another dream?' she reapeated. 'Have I dreamt this whole thing up. I normally dream of angels.'
'No, Elaine. This isn't a dream. This is reality.' Bridget assured her. 'Now, be a good girl and stay up here. I'll come and see you every once and a while.'
'Thank you, Bridget...' -
Mimi growled to herself in her room.
Sullivan sighed. "Jesus tap-dancing Christ..." -
'It's not like I'm going back to her or something.' David shrugged.
'I gotta go, Elaine.' Bridget smiled.
'It's funny...' Elaine sighed. A sad sigh, followed by a forced laugh. Bridget turned back.
'What is?' she asked.
'The fact that no matter how much I want to be saved and forgiven for the horrible things I've done...I can't be.'
Bridget frowned and turned away.
'Goodbye, Elaine.' and with that, the copper-haired Angel flew away. If only she knew what Elaine would do to herself. She'd have to wait until the morning to find out... -
Sullivan listened through the door. "She stopped...Is she sleeping?" He carefully peeked in. "Appears so..."
-
David sighed again. 'We'd all better hit the sack, too.'
Bridget flew in. 'How did it go?'
'She was...very co-operative.' she sighed, sadly. -
"That's good." Sullivan put a hand on her shoulder. "I'll check on her, bright an early."
Yu tiptoed upstairs, ready and eager to sleep in peace again. -
'Thanks, Sull.'Bridget smiled. Jeff and Ted were already asleep, and the girls were just getting ready. Marshall and Carin wondered off to their rooms. David made his way to his room, with Mimi.
