Book 2: The family Blood.
Roetha tries to find out more about her family, so she goes to an old guy the boy's dad told her about that lives far away from the city because he's a werewolf and doesn't want to kill people when he turns, he was friends with her grandpa Sir Ernest Halbert, and they were vampire hunters also, so he told her his story and how they hunted vampires and stuff, when she goes back to the room she was left in, she finds a diary of her grandma whom was Ernest Halbert's wife, Matilda Ormond, and her diary kept a ruby necklace (for book 4) and told her more about her past.
Then, she finds out why she was abandoned as a child, one day she goes phsycho and can't figure out why, she goes crazy and drinks the blood of the boy's sister, and realizes she is a vampire and her family left her there because she was a disgrace to them but they didn't want to kill their own daughter, so the boy takes her near the palce where the old guy lives and ties her to a statue of a cross so she'll weaken (because crosses kill vampires) and she'll eventually die in a few hours, but then she frees herself just as the old guy turns in to a wolf, she fights and kills him, burying his dead body next to the grave of her grandpa in a cemetry.
