"Well, I'm terribly sorry about what happened." I said.

'It's alright.' Charles shrugged. He eyed Carrie for a second, then looked away. The butcher placed a hand on Suzie's shoulder.
'Trust me, Ms. Snell. I know my son, and he can take a hit. Fredrick should be fine.' -
I held Piglet tight, hoping what Mr. Parish said was true.

Later...
Suzie, Marita and I perched ourselves on the waiting room chairs. 'Visitors for Parish, Fredrick.' the nurse called out. -
I quickly stood, and walked with Sue and Carrie to Freddy's room.

'Hello, Suzie.' Freddy grinned, his voice hoarser than usual, if that's even posiible. 'Carrie. And,the girl with the pig.'

"Marita." I said, "My name's Marita."

'Okay, I'll remember that.' Fred nodded.

"I'm glad to see you are recovering." I said.

'Well, I'm pretty tough.' Freddy shurgged. Carrie glanced at him for a minute.

Marita, not really understanding a word they said, just stayed silent.

Suzie knelt down and kissed Freddy on the forehead before leaving. Marita and I, however, were still there.
