You misinterpreted my point. That is fine, I understand that I did not use words and provide a meaningful explanation to back up my argument.
I respect your right to say that we do not deserve an entire month of celebration. And I'll even go so far as to agree that respect should not be given; it should be earned. Regardless, I ask that you show a bit more consideration to the struggle and fight that they have put up. Perhaps it is hard for you to understand because you are not a part of the community.
It is a serious issue across the entire world. As I mentioned, if someone is outed in the wrong country, their life will be terminated. If you think that is right, then I draw my line of respect for you and your opinions. No one deserves to be killed for loving the "wrong" person or being in the wrong body. No one deserves to be disowned, kicked out of their home or even abused, for that either.
We celebrate for the people who fought for us to have these rights. We celebrate to bring awareness that others are still fighting for their rights and freedoms.
We deserve the right to be proud of who we are. Straight people are not the minority when it comes to sexuality. Cis people are not the minority when it comes to gender. Please note these facts before you complain that we are rubbing our beliefs in your face. I'm not asking you to become gay, or become a male, or anything like that. But I will ask that you be slightly considerate, conservative or not. -

All right guys, I'm going to be a grownup and apologize.
In my defense, my brain does not work well with low sleep, and I said a lot of things I didn't really mean.
Sometimes I forget that I'm just a kid and I need to think more carefully about things before I just spurt out whatever I'm thinking.
I do understand where you guys are coming from. Not to be petty, but my family actually has disowned me for my being a fangirl. I am not at all exaggerating--that's just the cost of what I love. So I can in a way empathize with you all.
So please don't take all my stupidity personally. I'm still learning. At least give me credit for that I have never posted stuff like that before, and I plan on not doing it again. At least not in that way.
I will do my best to be more considerate and less dogmatic in the future. Thanks for your understanding. -
Good news for y'all:
I've done some thinking and I've decided I will be off for a while. I need some time away from the site to grow up a little. -
