Nichenbo woke up to hear hustle and bustle downstaires. She cleaned, brushed her hair, put on her cap, and headed downstaires. Her plan was to get some breakfast and leave as soon as possible.

It was the morning. I was making wheat biscuits and potato salad. Then I placed the food on a large table, and waited for the first morning risers to come and take some food to eat.

Eliade yawned. 'Whatcha got this morning?' she asked, looking at Denise.

"Potato salad and wheat biscuits." I answered, placing a small tray of forks for the people to eat with.

When she first got down the staires, Nichenbo took her time to look over the small crowd of early risers. There were not many, and most looked pretty tired.

'Aw no meat?' she said in a rather child like tone.

"The first portion of meat is served at lunchtime." I said, slicing apples for the evening's apple pie.

Nichenbo frowned, and took one of the biscuits. She had never had anything other then elvish food, and therefore did not know whether she would like it or not.

Eliade groaned. 'Whats a hero gotta kill around here ta get some meat?' she bit into a biscuit.

Behind me, an oven was roasting duck. Somehow, the fire escaped from he oven flared at the table setting it on fire, along with a few men. Loud screams were heard and people started running away. Just by instinct, I put out my hands and a large stream of water squirted out, putting out the fire on the mens clothes. I completely forgot that I needed to keep my power a secret.

Nichenbo blinked, not at all frightened or suprised by the scene. A fire happened, and was put out by a girl with special abilities. Nothing more to it, besides the fact it was a human village.

Eliade stared, a biscuit still in her mouth. This didnt bother her much due to everything she's seen.

I gasped. Then I quickly put out the fire and crawled out of the room, trying to make sure noone remembers her face.

Nichenbo watched the girl leave, still munching on her biscuit.

I got out of the back exit and ran for the forest. Why did I have to use my power?
