My Metroid Dread Review
I have completed Metroid Dread. Still have to go back and collect stuff, but, I played through the game. I loved the way they threw in melee moves, kept a lot of Fusion's abilities while adding new ones, and had places for you to figure our on your own rather than doing things by the book. The bosses were definitely more challenging with each one, and the story was pretty okay. My only two complaints are:
1. It's doesn't make sense that Raven Beak spared Samus in the opening video when he could've just taken what he wanted from her then and there.
2. There was no epilogue to conclude the X Parasite issue or what Samus will do with her newfound powers...
With that said, I'll give it a 4½/5. Sadly, Metroid Fusion had a better resolve than Dread. The ending just seemed a bit rushed, and if it's one thing I hate, its a screwed up ending to a story. If you get to the end of a story and the ending is irrelevant, rushed, or incomplete, it's like the whole writers are saying "f--- you! You wasted your time watching/reading/playing this just to get an incomplete ending, so now, the point of the story will never truly be certain!" -

Good to know though. 90, so overall still quite good then, yeah? Just wish the ending was a bit better done seems.
