. Rex walked through the gates into the palace of the great king Trevor who was still rather young though Trevor was very wise for his age. Rex was the top knight in the kingdom. He had worked hard to get to where he was and has (had) been given the(a) task as the princess's royal escort to their sister(s) kingdom of Reye.
