I was sleepy, bored, lazy at the end, and not myself as I made this.)
My blue eyes flutter open to be met with the dark night sky above me. Dark rain clouds in the distance, I knew it was going to rain soon and I had no shelter. I just stared at the sky as I laid under my blue and violet blanket I had with me. I had no idea how long it would be until sunrise but i usually wake up before sunrise, sleeping only a few hours each night.
I had no idea of where I was going. I was all alone, I have been for a year. Traveling place to place, stealing from vendors for my food. Sleeping outside in and under trees. Sure I have run into travelers. Some were nice to me, others...not so much. This one traveler I remember quite well however. Of all the people I have met, I like her the best.
~ Flashback ~
I had just woke up beside this large lake where I had slept on a bridge going across it. Not the best place to sleep I know. I could have fallen and drowned in the water. Well, I did a bit.
I had woken up and was still a bit asleep as I heard footsteps approaching me on the bridge. I didn't know what to do and completely forgot where I was so I tried to roll to my side and out of view but I ended up in the lake below me falling down about five feet landing with a splash as I hit the water surface.
I am not the best swimmer, actually I have no idea how to swum at all. Ald falling in like that did not help at all. I quickly sunk into the water, unable to get up to get some oxygen, struggling as I tried to get up.
This was when panic set in, I was going to drown. I was going to die! I Don't want to die here! Not like this! My eyes seemed to slowly close, loss of conciousness falling over me it seemed as my struggle weakened. The last thing I remember from that was a pair of hands grabbing me and being lifted out of the water in someone's arms.

My eyes fluttered open to the dark night sky overhead. It was peaceful, the stars shining brightly in the sky. I heard a light rustle of leaves to my left but I was too tired to really move from where I was at. I just stared over in the general direction, my eyes half opened, as I played dead at the time.
I heard quiet footsteps approaching and could see an outline of someone there, approaching in my direction. I could see a bit that they were wearing a red and white dress but that was all. Then I heard a soft, female voice speak up.
"I know you're awake there, miss. Look up to me." she said in a soft tone.
I sighed and did I she told me and looked up to her. The first thing I saw were her green eyes glimmering in the dim night sky. Then I could see that she had long black? Hair I think. It was hard to tell in the darkness of the night.
"What's your name?" she asked me. "I'm Shizumi Noruki." she gestured her hands telling me to say mine.
I let out a sigh as I spoke up. "I'm Yuki Yamachi." I replied slowly before coughing.
"Yuki? How old are you? You seem a little too young to be out here all alone by yourself."
"Fifteen." I responded as I lay my back on the cold ground and dirt below me. Not comfortable but I was used to being on worse. Much worse and less steady at that.
"So young yet all alone here. Yuki?" I looked up to her slightly and nodded saying she had my attention. "Would you like to come with me? Its not far from here and it is a bit secluded. I stay there all alone and some company would be nice. And you seem as if some company my help you as well." she said to me. I looked back down to up to the stars again. Thinking if I could trust her or not. I was not truly sure. She did save me after all. Maybe it wouldn't be that bad.
It is a place to stay, and I can just run away from there at night if I wanted. It would be better than sleeping on the ground at nights. Much much better really.
I nodded my head slowly to her and she approached and now beside me, leaning over me. Her face right in front of mine, smiling back at me. Her long black Hair falling lightly into my face as Her blue eyes shone back at me. She leaned in close to me, and lightly kissed my forehead.
"I'll carry you there, Yuki. You need rest." she said. She wrapped an arm under my legs and her other at my neck as she slowly lifted me up. I looked up and back at her smiling a little as she started on the way to her home.

I must've fallen asleep because when I reopened my eyes I was laying down on a soft bed. I looked around and saw I was in a room painted pink, with some paintings around, and a mirror and dresser to my left. I was laying under a red blanket and slowly moved it down from me, down to where it just covered my legs.
Once I did that, I noticed that my clothes had been changed as well. I was wearing now a little white dress. It was comfortable to me and I smiled. I heard footsteps approaching me and looked over to the door ok the right side as it was pushed open and Shizumi walked in.
"Ahh, you're awake, Yuki." she said walking up beside me. "Lean up for me, please." I did as she wanted and leaned up against the pillow.
She out the back of her hand against my forehead. It was soft, and comforting to me. "Good. Your fever has dyed down. When I got you here, you're head was burning up badly."
"How long has it been?" I asked curiously.
"You've been here for three days. Been asleep all the time since I was carrying you here." she responded to me. "You still have a bit of a fever though, but you can get up and move around if you want."
"Sh-shizumi? Wh-where are my clothes?" I coughed lightly and groaned a bit as I waited for an answer from her.
"They were drenched from when you fell into the lake and were full of holes and tears. I took them off of you and gave you an old dress of mine. It fits you perfectly, just a bit small for you."
"Oh, uhmm....thank you Shizumi." I said.
"Don't worry about it, Yuki. Now come on, dinner is ready downstairs." studio wrapped an arm around me and lifted me up as I just stared up to her face. Then we walked out of the bedroom and down to the dining area. Shizumi sat me down into a chair at the table and brought two plates out, sitting one in front of me and she took a seat beside me at the table with her own bowl of food. And we ate a bit slowly. It was quite quiet as we ate, not one of us speaking up to the other as we enjoyed the meal. -
