  I was thinking of learning a new language... And I wanted Japanese :3!!! I'm not taking classes at all, I'm just learning myself. Seriously. I have no clue why I'm making this thread ._.! I was just... Bored :3. But I've only learned the basic greetings, so yaaa.....!

  But, does anyone have an idea of what category of words I should learn next? Like:
  Commonly used words
  Animals
  Foods
  Numbers
  Names
  Etc....
  DUN JUDGE. I WAS BORED xD

  You should learn basic phrases. That's a good place to start. Or, you should actually learn how to write the japanese characters. this will help a lot later on as there are i think 2 different types of characters, kanji and katakana

  Cool, I've got a friend who is learning Japanese. He uses a Japanese dictionary and writes down sentences in Japanese a lot so he is really good at it.
