Looking for hope, but it's often hard to see,

Currently working on a huge nether wart farm on a 1.16 server while avoiding freezing in real life.
This year is already weird. -
That was 12 hours ago and I'm still nowhere near going to sleep?
What even am I to get such little sleep and somehow manage to survive? I'm not even tired and I've been up around a day now. Does cold give you superpowers or something? I'm so confused as to how this is a thing. I'm not even trying to do this. -
Idk, a lot of emotional stories don't get much reaction out of me, but some things, just...ouch. That's generally when I know something is really, really good, when it manages to get a reaction from dead-inside me.
I don't know if maybe this is because I've changed since I did most of my reading, or if it's still true, though, but the exception seems to be reading. Whereas only the best stories get a reaction from me in most mediums, I get really invested while reading. Or...maybe I just used to, and don't anymore. I don't know, I unfortunately don't read much anymore. I still really like to, but it's difficult because of my vision problems. I wish it were easier.
Maybe a lot of that's nostalgia, for the times when I used to spend more or less all day reading. And wanting to go back to being like I was then. Maybe, i don't know.
This morning, I finished rewatching one of my favorite shows, and the last episode, it hits hard, always has. but with how my life is right now, it hit harder than ever, very (too) close to home. All about the fact that things change (I believe that's even the episode title) and that as time passes, you'll lose things in your life, sometimes major things, sometimes major people.
And that's what I'm always afraid of, losing the people I care about.
And that's always what happens. Eventually. -
Dang, I think I may have just found another band I'm gonna end up being into haha, really in a bit of a golden age of music right now. A bunch of old stuff from back in the day is coming back into my daily listening, and I've also been discovering a lot. Maybe not as many specific bands I can get into as I'd like, but my genre preferences are certainly spiderwebbing outward.
