Many new faces in this humble old place,
I have little left here and yet I still return,
Like that saying of the old stomping grounds
Where I learned who I would be,
For awhile the only place I could be free,
I built an empire in these lands,
But it's now fallen out of my hands
A new generation has come,
And my time has long been done
I never left or broke what I had
And yet my demise has still been painful and sad
A whimper into the dark,
Going gentle while attempting to rage,
My life here has fallen apart
And I feel I'm of a bygone age,
Hoping for just another day
So maybe I can still replay
The days of my long gone past
In this strange world to which I've been cast -
I wish I could just stop feeling...
