And I venture into my mind.
Beneath the euhoria and brightly lit corners
are the dim shadows and alleys of apathy.
I feel as though I am never awake.
I feel as though I may never sleep.
I feel as though those around me mascarade
with the faulty masks I have made too.
I feel as if the friendships I have created shall end soon.
And the ones in continuem are fake.
The world once felt like it was in my palm.
It is now slipping slowly from my hands.
