That's true. Like, Aang is 112 years old, but due to his entrapment in ice for a century, it reversed his age to twelve. Hm.

I can name quite a few anime characters that look their age.
Take Akane and Kogami for instance.
More so Kogami then Akane, but still.
I can name more.
And this somehow turned into a contest in my head... -
