It's fun just watching Bobo slither around. He's so precious.

I dunno about you, but i'm sick of games/manga/anime with generic-ass anime girls as important characters. They don't look battle ready, strong, or experienced, but they somehow are.
I think people forget that matching looks with personality is important.
Bad
Good
1st image has characters who look like they're in/just got out of highschool. No battle experience, ever. Just there to look hot/pretty.
2nd Image stars Zarya, a character who isn't made to look super hot/fap material but instead shows how strong she is which reflects off her personality. -
Another bad design
This is for an RPG called Nippon Ichi. This character looks like they're god damn 10 years old but we're expected to believe that she's some powerful wizard/sorceress? Please.
Game developers, please send me ACTUAL character designs, not forgettable moe s---s. -
Re:Zero is a massive culprit of this.
The story follows a forgettable main character and a bunch of moe s---s that are, once again, supposed to be strong/skilled and deadly, but NONE of them look the part. Rem and Ram are played out as deadly killers, but neither one is given backstory as to how they're so skilled. It's just "lol heres some fap material also they're skilled in killing hur hur hur" -
Some people manage to get away with this, though.
Anime like Kill la Kill, for example.
KLK features two girls who don't look like they've worked out a day in their life. They're hot (to the average viewing audience) and are literally designed to look appealing. However, what makes this work is that both get their actual powers and strengths from the outfits they wear, which ties in with the whole story.
If developers/writers did this more in their story, making characters hot and not strong looking would be slightly more acceptable. -
Alucard SOTN forgot how to embed images my bad
Good character design, gives a noble air, pale, beautiful gothic aesthetic is dhampir -

I actually ended up having 120 dollars left over in spending money from christmas
...what to spend it on...? -
I could always buy some more warhammer 40k figures for my army, buuut...
Kiiiinda wanna save for MonHun World -
OOOor I could invest in more D&D stuff. After all, after selling my Dragunov Sniper Rifle and Yugioh Duel disk I should have enough for MonHun World and a refurbished ps4.

Hey, I dunno when youll see this, but I ordered a new gunpla. This time I got a vintage kit, the HG 1/144 Deathscythe Hell from Endless Waltz. (Deathscythe is my favorite from an aesthetics stand point)
Do you know anything about the older kits? -
Oh snap man, Deathscythe is pretty wicked. But ordering from the vintage kits might not be a good idea if you're going for realism? I've noticed that the colors often tend to be a little off on the plastic parts and that detail is ignored a lot of the time. Also, clear plastic wasn't very common, so for the scythe blade you may end up with just a solid green plastic piece.
As for maneuverability, I can't recall anything bad about them. You should be able to get them in the poses you desire. -
Ooh okay. Im not too worried about realism, I like how the kits turn out oob. Not too confident about my painting skills honestly.
Oddly enough I think they used yellow plastic for the scythe blade. xD
Thats good. That means the only thing that should hinder mobility for this kit are the wings.
