Thread Topic: Money is better than love?

Think of the people you love the most. You've got somebody, surely, even if you don't feel they love you back.
Now think you're offered unfathomable riches to torture and kill them.
Which do you choose?
Also while making your decision, consider that money is merely a means of exchange which will be rendered obsolete when society transitions away from capitalism. -
XShidoKusubanaX NewbieFor someone that has been in love before, it sucks. Someone always gotta interfere and ruin it. Money is better, I like money, it does buy happiness but not love.
-
But dont you still go back to find someone to love even with money. Humans crave attention. People can have money but they'll be lonely. No such thing as money buying happiness
-
Yes...it's true that sometimes you can get sad because someone has been treating you like garbage but it's not just love! It's also money. You have no money you have no life. Money can make you sad too.
-
XShidoKusubanaX NewbiePeople indeed do have desires and craving. Honestly, humans at greedy, it's become part of out nature. Materialism, desiring things like power and items. Speaking for myself, I do have a desire for items, ones I don't need but want. People don't need love we want it. Satisfying our craving for romance and materials is just on our nature. So I would say, money does but happiness, when you satisfy the want for uneeded material you feel happy.

Money ain't gonna make things better. You break up with your wife your husband or whoever, you have money, you buy yourself a car and house and stuff like that, but that is not gonna help you get someone to love you.
-
It depends on what type of love you meant,
-
XShidoKusubanaX NewbieIf you break from your spouse then you guys weren't in love to begin with. Or it just faded away over the years.
-
says the guy with the dick picture
-
Haha I disagree :) We need love .There's a research that of was done, two groups of babies in a hospital, the first group received love, hugs and kisses, and the 2nd got only food then nothing. The 1st group grew up healthy and the 2nd group died. There's a difference between need and want. For example water, when we are thirsty we want it but we need it for our basic survival
-
We're social animals- even the most "anti-social" of us desires a connection at some level.
-
XShidoKusubanaX NewbieThat's a pretty brutal test but I see what your saying.
-
Here is a good question:
Would you rather get love (like hugs, kisses, be supported, get fed) or get money and be treated like garbage? -
XShidoKusubanaX NewbieMost of the cases? If you had money you wouldn't be treated garbage.
I see what you mean by the love thing but I still believe money can buy happiness. -
@Appa true.
I really want to make this debate fun at school
