  My dad used to catch my mom hitting me and boy did he yell at her.

  Why isn't he? If I ended up catching my a wife of mine doing that I'd video tape it, divorse her and get costudy and the house.

  @Ellis: He's been busy with work.
  I would never hit my child. If he/she did something bad I would probably slap their hands, but not hard. Or just punish them.
