Its the cartlidge one. Sometimes it swells up. I cant have a back on it anymore. It started when my grandma ripped my earring out...

Ouch. I have a bar going through the top of my ear, so I know how it feels. -
Yeah. SO every once in awhile if i sleep on it wrong or if my pillow pulls it out it swells up
