Moonlight purred as Willowkit,Silverkit and Flamekit pounced on each other.
Soon,all three would be old enough to become aprentices.
Her mate's scent was nearby. -
Elmbranch came back, a finch in his jaws. He told Snowpaw to train on her own.
He went to the queen's den and gave Daisy the Finch.
She flicked her tail on his nose, and said "Thanks"
Shadowkit, Yarnkit, and Stripekit pawed at it. -

"Take that Darkheart!"Flamekit mewed bravely.
Moonlight flinched at the name.She heard the stories from the elders about the cat and it chilled her to the bone to know they were true.
"I call to be Leader!"Silverkit yowled loudly.
"I'm deputy!"Willowkit mroowed then tussled with her brother and sister. -
Lilypaw bounded over to Leafpool, and took the neccessary herbs to the sick elder, Onefoot.

Daisy's kits said"We wanna play!"
The ginger tom, Yarnkit, said "I wanna be a fox"
Stripekit, a gray tabby she-cat, said "I'm being sandstorm, best hunter in the clan"
Shadowkit, a deep black tom, said "I'll be Darkheart"

Forestkit twitched her ears in anoyance and padded past Brambleclaw to the medicine den.

Ebonykit lay quietly in the underbrush.
Suddenly a black wad of fur jumped on Flamekit and bit his flanks.
"Ebonykit your hurting me!"Flamekit squealed.
"I am Darkheart and I am invincible!"Ebonykit yowled in relish.
"Let go!"Willowkit and Silverkit mewed."This isn't fun anymore! -

Yarnkit said "I am a fox"And tackled Shadowkit.
Shadowkit hissed, and rolled over on him.
Stripekit licked a paw, and snickered. -
eilloh Junior"Yarnkit help!"Flamekit yowled.
"I will be leader."Ebonykit said finally and unsheathed her tiny claws.
Willowkit,Flamekit,and Silverkit quietly agreed.
Forestkit weaved inbetween the gorse and bramble and padded quietly to watch Leafpool.

Yarnkit pounced on Ebonykit, tumbling with him.
"I'm Firestar, beat that"He said, amber eyes bright.
Stripekit giggled at them, and Shadowkit snorted. -

Willowkit gasped and padded to her mother,Moonlight.
"Take that back or you are crowfood!"Silverkit yowled.
In the distance Forestkit heard noises from the nursery den. -
Yarnkit snarled, and Shadowkit narrowed his eyes.
Stripekit hissed.
