"What's wrong?" I asked, looking up at the lady.

"Uhh..I don't want to scare you, but I think I lost all sense of direction and went off the an negative incorrect geographical point." I wanted to confuse the girl so she wouldn't know we were lost.

"Uhhhhh....." I was confused, "I'm sorry, I'm not sure I know any of those words."

"In normal words, were lost." I realized that sooner or later the girl would figure out that we were lost, so I decided to tell her now.

"Oh." I said, shivering slightly because of the cold weather.

I suddenly remembered something. "Can you change into any other animals?" I asked the girl, hoping that she could change into an animal with thick fur to keep her warm.

"Different kinds of house cats." I replied.

"Whats the one with the thickest fur?" I asked the girl. Then I changed into a panther because out of all the animals I could transform into, the panther could keep me warm the best.

"I guess a Bombay." I said, half to myself. I changed into a Bombay, the thick black fur blocking out most of the wind.

"Were going to have to spend the night here. Then in the morning i'll take you to your parents, okay?" I asked the girl while pushing away leaves with my big paws, making myself a resting place.

"Okay." I said, doing the same thing.

I sank to the ground, exausted. I placed my head on my paws and closed my eyes. "Good night" I said, yawning. Then I drifted off to sleep.

"Good night." I said, curling into a ball. It took me a while to fall asleep, but I did eventually.

I awoke in the morning. Birds chirped sweetly and the sun was rising. A warm breeze blew, and I stretched. The little brown kitten was still fast asleep.
