I didn't really believe Bryan, but as soon as I got home (of course Mom or Dad wasn't home yet), I wrote a note saying I was meeting some friends at Long Island. I whipped out my cell phone and called Bryan. "I'll be there in about ten minutes."

I tried to see what she was riding on.

I took a cab to Long Island and paid him. "You want me to come back later?"
"No thanks. I'll hitch a ride with my friends."
So I walked over to the Sound and began skipping stones.
"Nicki! You came!" Bryan trotted over, a big grin on his face. "Come on, I want to show you what I was talking about."
He led me up a hill, and pointed to a tree. "Walk up to the tree." He ordered.
"What? That's all?" I laughed.
"Just go," Bryan sighed. -
I saw people coming from behind. I merely watched

I heard a rustling in the bushes, was it an animal? Or just a startled newbie? "Hello? Anyone hiding in the bushes?" I called.
People were approaching and gave me strange looks as if I were mad, I wouldn't blame them, afterall I was talking to a bush.
Feather and I rode closer to the bushes and again I called, "Hello?" -
I looked around in the bush a saw a black dagger. I took it firmly in my hand

Feather stuck her head into the bushes, and jumped back in suprise as she saw a person, I held onto the reins tightly and steadied, "Relax Feather, its just a newbie" I said and rubbed her neck gently. I climbed off and peered into the bushes curiously, "And might I ask what is so fun about hiding in bushes?"

"Observing, and finding weapons"

"Observation? Quite a useful tool here, just be careful and hope you survive here...hmm, well you haven't got shot in the head yet so I suppose you are doing well, and who are you?"

Bryan and I walked up to the tree. I turned around. "Okay, we're at the tree. Now what?"
Bryan pushed me, and I felt a ripple of energy.
"What the heck was that for?" I screamed. -
I smirked. "Zair Despair"

"Wow, nice name, I'm Lyra Azure" I said and held my hand out for a shake, "Daughter of...well I don't know yet", I said with a shrug, "And your daughter of..?"

"No idea" I said and stood up
