Maybe I can give you a few pointers. You must really show personality from your character. Everything your character says or does should reflect his/her personality. Plus, use good grammar, or people will just think you're just some creepy second account, or possibly a troll.
I'm actually an OC character, by the way. You shall not find out who I really am. :3
