"Love you too," Dai said softly. He still seemed to struggle when he said that word, but it was much less than before.

Akira heard the bit of hesitation in Daisuke's voice, but didn't say anything. He just kept hugging him. -
He is a pretty dog. ;w; Don't die.
Daisuke held Akira securely in his arms and patted his back. He was still f---ing happy. "Are you hungry? We left my brothers downstairs." -
Yeah.
Akira nodded. "Yeah, I'd like some food." -
He let go of him. "Come downstairs with me, then."

Akira nodded and followed him downstairs.

The second they would get downstairs, they would be able to hear the twins arguing over who knows what. Though that was common from what Daisuke remembered, so he didn't really seemed phased by it.

Akira didn't really pay attention to the arguing since there had been plenty of it at the orphanage. He had participated in any of them, though.

"You're too salty!"
Daisuke was trying his best to not laugh. It was so silly and refreshing to see his brothers like that. But he noticed that Akira seemed somewhat uncomfortable. "Calm down, both of you." -
Akira gave a small smile to Daisuke in thanks for getting the twins to quiet down.

"The cutie's back!" Ren said loudly when hearing Daisuke's voice, adoration in his own voice. He rushed over to Akira's side and pinched his cheek playfully and gently. "You're an adorable little thing, don't you know that?"
