After some hours of paddling, we landed on a new shore. Stronger restraints were placed on me and I was led to a small, cold, and damp room. The door was shut behind me and locked.
-
From when I was very little, I heard that Mysia's sisters were witches. Right now, I hoped it was true. I hoped that they would be able to bring me back to life, so i could help Ese. Then, another picture appeared in front of me. It was Ese. All tied up, in a boat. I told her to run. I thought
-
Mysia came just a second too late. The canoes were halfway across the bay, to a new island. Mysia screamed across the water. What was she suppose to do now?
-
Now I saw that she was in a room. What had they planned to do with her?
-
I then did something I had not done in a long while. Something I told myself I would never again do. I had to be strong, for my brother's sake. But I did it anyway. I cried.
-
She was crying. I prayed that everything would be alright with her. There has to be a way out.
-
Mysia ran across the sand, towards a small cove that hung above the water. In this small cave, three boats were stored. Long ago birthday gifts from their father. Mysia jumped into hers. It didn't even rock a bit. It was so sturdy yet, and just from that, Mysia felt a little inkle of hope run into her veins.
-
I cried and cried and cried. I cried for my brother. For my father. Even for Izelenda and Mysia. I cried for the others that this had happened to.
-
I wished I could help her. But there was nothing I could do.
-
The island before had one remaining torch sitting out to guide me before a gust of wind came up and blew it out. I stared at the black exspanse before me. I now was completely, and utterly, lost.
-
I looked away from the image. I couldnt bear look at my friend suffer.
-
Meanwhile.....
The men were talking about what to do to their new 'guest'. One of the men decided to check on her, He took a torch and started over. -
Mysia sighed, fingering the crescent moon on her calf. There was a reason why she never went in the water to far, because if she did, she might be stuck there forever. But this was to save a friend.
Mysia took off her sundress, leaving her in her black swimsuit. She stood up on her beautiful boat, the last thing she had from her father. But Mysia shook her head, shaking away her sorrows, and jumped in, making a small splash... -
When I looked back at the image, a heavy metal door to Ese's room open.
-
The man carrying the torch though he heard a splash. He looked out, but saw nothing. He shrugged and continued on.
