It has no specific shape: whatever is needed. only really starships have spherical or eliptic feilds.

*sigh* a force field cannot take whatever god damn shape it needs in combat. That's basically god modding and it's bull s---. A force field has one-two specific shapes and that's it. If it isn't skin tight I could easily teleport inside it and hit your pressure points and teleport out. If it was skin tight I could easily use enough force to make the force field jab into your body itself and hit the pressure points.
