They were about halfway to the door when Yuri just began howling in pain again. Aiki was keeping back her snickers.

Braken dropped Aiki's wrist and turned around, staring at Yuri. "What's wrong?!"

"My.. My eyes! Oh my God, my eyes!" he was screaming, covering his face with his hands. He was on the floor, his back arched in excruciating pain.
Meanwhile Aiki had taken off without further assistance. It was all the time she needed. -
"Yuri! What's wrong with your eyes?!" Braken asked, almost yelling.

"It feels like they're burning," he replied, his voice hardly anything less than a yell. He took his hand off one and nothing really seemed wrong with them.. They just had a milky color to them.

Braken looked at Yuri's eye. "Can you see well?"

He shook his head rapidly. "I can see but it's.. So blurry."

Braken scooped Yuri up into his arms. "I'm taking you to the witch lady."

Yuri nodded, giving Braken a blank stare that resembled Aiki's.

Braken looked at him worriedly then began to run to the witch's cottage.

He tried to make sense of all the blurred colors before him.

He soon reached the cottage and knocked at the door and the witch came and opened the door. "Yes?" she asked.
"Can you help Yuri?" he asked, out of breath. -
Yuri gave a sheepish smile and just waved. "Hi."

"What seems to be the problem now?" she asked.
Braken walked inside the cottage and explained to her what happened. -
"I do have something that I think will help but it will leave him slightly nearsighted." the witch explained.
Braken looked at Yuri. "Is that okay?"
