Braken was confused for a second and then realization crossed his face. "Did Aiki do this to you?" he asked, touching Yuri's bandaged cheek.

Yuri, knowing that he had said too much to lie anymore, only nodded.

"So I was right." Braken muttered to himself.

"About what?" he asked, curiously.

"I noticed that something didn't seem right with Aiki since she got back." Braken explained.

"You've got your answer," Yuri said bitterly as a response.

"Well, she obviously can't stay here anymore." Braken announced, standing up.

"What? But she's your best friend.."

"She's not who she used to be. I don't want her here if she's gonna hurt you."

"Why would you do that for me?"

"Because." Braken said.

He didn't think because was a good response, but he sighed. "Alright.."

Braken was about to leave then stopped. "You need to come with me." he said.
