By then his face was twisted into a look of pain, but he managed to stay quiet about it.

Braken finished bandaging Yuri's throat. "Alright, there. That's better, right?"

He nodded a bit. "Yeah. Thank you."

Braken smiled. "Anytime."

He smiled a bit as well, feeling strange as he did so.

"Well, I guess I'll leave then.." Braken said, getting up.

"So soon?" Yuri asked, once again curious. But he didn't really make much of another effort to keep Braken there.

"I was thinking that maybe you should get some rest.."

He stayed quiet for a while, thinking about it. "Yeah.. You're right."

Braken nodded. "Take a nice good nap."

He nodded and curled back up on his bed. "Alright.."

Braken walked out and shut the door quietly.

Aiki was leaning against the wall in front of the door. Her arms crossed. Blank stare.

"Oh, hey there, Aiki." Braken said.

"What's up with Yuri?" she instantly asked.
